Cost Questions
What is the cost to my organization? Nothing. Turnstile Systems's services are provided to your organization at no cost. Your participants pay a small transaction fee that is typically added on to each registration and built into the participants program cost. A fee is charged for online credit and debit card transactions by the payment processor you choose.
How much is the transaction fee? The transaction fee ranges from $4.50 to $2.50 declining as volume increases. Contact us for an estimate for your organization.
What does it cost for ongoing technical support, maintenance and upgrades? Nothing, as e-mail and telephone technical support (within reasonable limits), maintenance and upgrades are included at no cost. A regular schedule of Web based training is also included at no cost to train additional staff from time to time.
How much do you charge to host my website? Hosting for your website is free. Plus, our easy-to-use, non-technical web publishing tools give you a comprehensive branded website. As a result, most customers have experienced savings by eliminating the need for current hosting and web maintenance expenses.
Will we need to buy new computers or anything else to Turnstile Systems? Probably not. All your organization needs is to have Internet access and a relatively new Windows based computer (PC) that meets certain minimums for oour hardware and software. To maximize the performance of the application, we recommend a PC running Windows XP with 1GB of RAM or Windows Vista and Microsoft Office, plus a high-speed internet connection. New, higher performance PCs are available for under $500.
We have a lot of historical information. Do we need to convert it? The solution was designed to allow a fresh start without the need to convert historical information. Most organizations choose this approach. If your organization wishes to convert some historical information, we can provide or facilitate this service for a fee agreed upon in advance.
